Product Overview
The UV Weatherproof Test Chamber is designed and manufactured according to the standard requirements of ISO 4892-82, ASTM G154, ISO 4892-3, ISO 11507, ASTMD 4329, and others. This chamber simulates the hazards caused by sunlight, rain, and dew exposure. It utilizes fluorescent UV lamps to simulate sunlight effects and condensed moisture to replicate rain and dew conditions. Test materials are placed at specific temperatures and subjected to alternating light and moisture cycles in programmed sequences.
The testing process, which can take from days to months, reproduces outdoor environmental hazards including: fading, discoloration, loss of gloss, chalking, cracking, turbidity, bubbles, embrittlement, strength loss, and oxidation. UV test data assists in new material selection and formulation durability evaluation for various industries including coatings, inks, paints, resins, plastics, rubber, printing and packaging, aluminum profiles, adhesives, automotive, motorcycle, cosmetics, metals, electronics, and electroplating.
